America's Front Porch

Very high resolution original photographs of flags on the front porches of America's Heartland. Captures the heart of America, and puts a flag on your computer at the office when you walk away.
Artist's Notes: I loved shooting this. The entire neighborhood was beautiful, and has a basketball hoop in almost every driveway. You'll see a garden hose or a tricycle peeking out from behind the bushes once in a while; it's that kind of a neighborhood. This is an excellent screen saver for children, and a memorial for the adults.
Peaceful, restful, an affirmation of support and solidarity with all Americans.
Thirty-five frames, 3.6 meg file, images are 800 by 600, and displays beautifully on a 1600 x 1200 screen resolution on a 19" monitor with no loss of quality. (That's the biggest I have to test it on.) Music is 2 different medleys of patriotic music, including God Bless America, and is mutable.
There is a wonderful piece of software available that places a small animated American flag in the lower right hand corner of your screen. I love elegant software, and this is so beautifully written I just want to sit and admire it. It's a very small file, and it won't bother your operating system in any way. Please stop by www.deskflag.com and pick it up; it's completely free. (This is a gift from the same wonderful people who bring you Holiday Lights, which is the little Christmas tree lights that run around people's screens at the office at Christmas time.)
